Yoga Darsana

Yoga darśana is a custom-built yoga studio in Salthill, with some of Galway’s most experienced teachers offering a range of yoga and pilates classes.  Facing stunning views of the Burren and the sea, the studio offers daily classes with various levels and styles of yoga. Whether you are looking to start yoga, improve your practice, or slow down with a restorative practice, yoga darśana has something to meet your needs.

Yoga darśana was established in 2021 as a nonprofit studio.  The goal is to re-invest profits from fee-based classes to provide opportunities to take regular yoga classes for people who traditionally have not had the opportunity to attend regular yoga classes due to (dis)ability, social or financial constraints. darśana is a Sanskrit word meaning mirror, the studio name is inspired by the yoga sutras of Patañjali. It represents how yoga is like a mirror, reflecting the soul through one’s thoughts and actions.
